Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced allied health professional for a travel assignment in cardiac imaging. This role performs comprehensive echocardiography studies, including stress and transesophageal exams, using advanced imaging modalities and image management systems like Synapse and PACS.

Applicants must have RDCS/RSCS/RCS credentials, BLS, and be able to work a weekend rotation. Local and travel candidates considered; vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.
• Appropriate credential in echocardiography (RDCS/RSCS/RCS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms, including limited, stress, and transesophageal studies.
• Uses color Doppler, power Doppler, spectral Doppler, and M-mode.
• Obtains high-quality diagnostic images for cardiologist interpretation and prepares preliminary reports in Synapse.
• Uses Synapse and PACS for echocardiography image management; studies may be sent to EMMC for continuation of patient care.
• May place peripheral IVs for agitated saline, Definity, and stress echocardiography exams if certified as per policy.
• Shift availability includes every other weekend if requested by management.
• 14 days maximum time off.
• 1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months.

Required Credentials:Appropriate credential in echocardiography (must have one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Registered Cardiac Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International; or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals).

Shift & Scheduling:Must be available to work every other weekend if requested to do so by the Department Manager or Supervisor.

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
