Job summary

The candidate should have completed an accredited Cardiac Sonographer program and be eligible for national Registered/Registry certification, with preference for those already registered in a non-invasive cardiac

Qualifications

• Completed requirements as a Cardiac Sonographer from accredited program.
• Must be eligible to sit for Registered Cardiac Sonographer designation from national accreditation board.
• Completed Cardiac Sonographer program and eligible for Registry certification.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer in an established hospital non-invasive cardiac testing unit, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Cardiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasonic procedures for evaluation as prescribed by a physician. Requires knowledge and use of highly specialized equipment.
