Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform non-invasive heart ultrasound, operate equipment, and aid physicians in diagnosing conditions across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will conduct stress echocardiograms, 2-D echos, and ensure proper disinfection and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities include documenting studies, transmitting images for reporting, and coordinating testing while participating in on-call duties and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current registration in Cardiac Sonographer/Echo RDCS or eligible.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous experience with neonates and pediatrics preferred.

Position: Cardiac Sonographer

Role Overview

Perform non-invasive ultrasound scans of the heart to aid physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. Responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, conducting procedures such as stress echos, transesophageal, and 2-D echos, and ensuring proper disinfection and maintenance of equipment. Explain procedures to patients, monitor their condition, and assist them during exams, considering all age groups from neonatal to geriatric. Administer LV enhancement imaging and Image Enhancing Agents as appropriate, accurately document studies, and transmit images for reporting and archiving.
