UAB Medicine's Cardiac Diagnostics team in Birmingham seeks a Part-Time ultrasound professional to perform diagnostic imaging of cardiac and vascular structures. You will set up equipment, conduct exams, and ensure high-quality image acquisition for interpretation in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The role requires BLS, and credentialing pathways through CCI or ARRT, with an associate degree or higher preferred from an accredited program. This position supports UAB St.

Competenze

• BLS Provider required within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date.
• Cardiographic Sonographer credential or RDCS/RVS option through CCI or ARRT.
• Associate or higher with graduate from an accredited sonography program preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging of cardiac structures.
• Set up and adjust equipment; operate transducers for exams.
• Ensure safety standards and quality control procedures are followed.
• Submit high-quality images to PACS with proper markers.
