Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered ARDMS, or ARRT, and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.
