Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in diagnostic sonography is required.
• 0–2 years of cardiac sonography experience.
• Echocardiography certification/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized cardiac ultrasound exams per physician orders.
• Identifies patient and sets up exam equipment and environment.
• Documents all aspects of the procedure accurately and promptly.
• Communicates patient status and needs to the team; ensures safety in the procedure area.
• Finalizes scan reports and ensures correct transfer to the reading area.
