Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Specialty Services is seeking a cardiac ultrasound technologist to perform inpatient and outpatient ultrasound studies, including 2D echo, Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms, under the direction of the manager and lead sonographer. Graduation from a registry-approved ultrasound program is required, with BCLS certification and ARDCS or RCS credentials expected.

No experience is required, though two years of related hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent according to IAC.
• No experience required.
• 2 years of related hospital inpatient or outpatient cardiovascular sonography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient cardiac ultrasound tests including 2D echo, Doppler, stress exams.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms as assigned by supervisor/lead sonographer.
• Provide documentation and preliminary exam findings.
