Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health in Nashua, NH is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for full-time work. The role involves 30 hours weekly, a 6:30am-5pm shift pattern with on-call rotation.

You will perform comprehensive cardiac sonography, coordinate with care teams, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding confidentiality. Requirements include completion of an accredited Allied Health program, CPR certification, NH licensure, and eligibility or pursuit of RDCS credentials within a year.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program.
• Current RDCS credential preferred or eligibility.
• Minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year.
• Current CPR certification required.
• State licensure by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Pediatric or neonatal experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in echocardiography preferred.

• Coordinates with physicians, nurses, and staff to schedule and provide testing.
• Responds to emergencies and assists with patient transports as required.

About the Job:

Provides proper testing and education for in/outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. Utilizes proper equipment and procedures, protects patient’s confidentiality, and produces accurate and complete documentation for all activities.

• Performs all aspects of cardiac sonography within practice guidelines and approved hospital policy and procedures.
• Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing testing
• Responds to all emergencies and assists with patient transports as required

Who You Are:
