Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join a busy Cardiac Catheterization department. This full-time role (M-F, 32 or 36 hours) requires on-call weekends and weeknights, and offers a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth.

You will perform interventional procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain strict documentation while upholding patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BCLS at time of hire
• ACLS certification required within two (2) years of hire
• RTR or RCIS credentials required
• State of NH Board licensure required
• Minimum 1 year experience in interventional lab

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties associated with cardiac interventional and invasive procedures in a professional manner.
• Ensures all equipment is in good working order, maintained and cleaned within manufacturer specifications.
• Utilizes all maintenance guidelines and biomedical department as required.
• Responds to all emergencies and patient transports as required.

About the Job:

Provides proper care, patient evaluation and education for in/outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. Utilizes proper equipment and procedures, protects patient confidentiality, and produces accurate and complete documentation for all activities.

What You’ll Do:

• Performs all duties associated with cardiac interventional and invasive procedures in a professional manner.
• Assures that all equipment is in good working order, maintained and cleaned within manufacturer’s specifications.
• Utilizes all maintenance guidelines and biomedical department as required.
• Responds to all emergencies and patient transports as required.

Who You Are:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required at time of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within two (2) years of hire.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RTR) credentials or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentials required.
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience of on-the-job training from a qualified lab or RTR or RCIS credentials with the same training.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an interventional lab.
