Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join the Imaging-Heart Vascular & Thoracic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Schedule 6:00am-12:30pm, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

You will perform echocardiograms, assist in Cath lab and OR, and contribute to top-tier patient care. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in sonography or vascular tech, with echocardiography experience and RDCS/RCS credentials in sight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sonography or vascular technology required.
• Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound program (18 months) acceptable.
• Two years of full-time echocardiography experience acceptable.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required.
• Must obtain RDCS or RCS credential within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust all equipment and maneuver transducers for exams.
• Perform routine and complex echocardiography studies.
• Assist physicians in the Cath lab and operating room.
• Ensure high-quality patient care with emphasis on education.
• Specialty work includes transthoracic echo, 3D imaging, LVAD assessments.
