Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Tech to perform echocardiograms and vascular studies, while ensuring compassionate care for patients and families. Day shift with on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining files and equipment, and providing timely information to physicians. Requires high school diploma, BLS, and completion of a two-year allied health program with RDCS/RCS certification or registry-eligibility within 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging (echocardiograms, vascular studies).
  • Prepare required reports and follow-up paperwork.
  • Maintain files and equipment; provide statistics as needed.
  • Handle telephone scheduling and information provision.
  • Contribute to safety, quality and efficiency as part of the High Reliability Organization (HRO).
