Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and transesophageal echocardiography as ordered by physicians. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with 10-hour shifts and rotating after-hours and weekend standby at St.

James Hospital. The position requires completion of an accredited education program in cardiac ultrasound, AMA-approved training, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an education program through an accredited facility.
• Licenses and registrations as required for cardiac sonography.
• Ability to read and interpret documentation and perform procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs per physician orders.
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure image quality.
• Maintain equipment and document findings according to policy.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

QUALIFICATIONS Cardiac Sonographer II

satisfactory completion of formal ultrasound training in an AMA approved school and/or formal on‑the‑job ultrasound training in addition to graduating from an AMA approved medical program. Recommend experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
