Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs ordered by physicians at St James Hospital. This full-time role involves 40 hours per week, with 10‑hour shifts and rotating after‑hours and weekend standby calls.

Qualifications

• Completion of an education program through an accredited facility.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Satisfactory completion of formal ultrasound training in an AMA approved school and/or formal on‑the‑job ultrasound training.
• Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

QUALIFICATIONS Cardiac Sonographer II

Recommend experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
