Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking a Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer to perform adult cardiac ultrasound scans at our New York location. The role requires ARDMS credentials or RCS/CCI options and substantial experience in echocardiography.

The position offers local pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to work with a cardiovascular imaging team in a hospital/clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult cardiac scans is required.
• At least 3 years of Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer experience.
• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program.
• Two years of college (Associate’s Degree) and completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program or equivalent experience.

Job description

Job title: Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer

Job location: New York, NY 10016

Shift: Tues-Fri 7am-5pm and Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.

Local Pay: $60 - $65/hr

Travel Weekly Gross: $2,000.00 - $2,660.00/Week

Certification Requirements

• -Experience in adult cardiac scans is required
• -At least 3 years of Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer experience required
• -Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist
• - Two years of college ( Associate’s Degree) and completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• -BLS or Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation required
• -Registered Diagnostics Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) issued ARDMS required (cannot accept RDMS, only RDCS acceptable) OR
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by CCI
