Job summary

HRforGrowth is recruiting a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment in Lawrenceville, GA. This travel contract runs for 13 weeks with 10-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–6:30 PM, schedule varies) and compensation of $48–$51 per hour.

The ideal candidate has recent Cardiac Sonography/Echo experience, appropriate credentials (RDCS/RCS/RCCS or ACS), current BLS, and prior travel experience, plus strong communication and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Appropriate echocardiography credential (RDCS/RCS/RCCS or ACS).
• Additional vascular credential (RVT/RVS/RS).
• Prior travel assignment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echocardiography studies.
• Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
• Obtain and evaluate cardiac ultrasound images per procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining quality and patient-focused care.

Our Client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will be responsible for performing cardiac echocardiography studies, providing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.

Job Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks

Compensation: $48 – $51 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.
• Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
• Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.
• Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.
• Current BLS certification.
• Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following:
  • RDCS through ARDMS
  • RCS or RCCS through CCI
  • ACS through CCI
• Additional vascular credential, including one of the following:
  • RVT through ARDMS
  • RVS through CCI
  • RS through ARRT
• Prior travel assignment experience.
• Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Additional Requirements

• This is a travel-only assignment; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.
• Floating is not required.
• No on-call requirement.
• Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment..
