Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer in Idaho Falls to perform a range of echocardiography procedures, including adult and pediatric echocardiograms and stress testing.

You will work with the Cardiology team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and support a family-like environment. Candidates should have BCLS within 7 days and credentials such as RDCS/RCS/RCCS/RVT/RVS.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform echocardiography procedures in the Echocardiology Department, including adult and pediatric echocardiograms, transesophageal echo imaging for structural heart, and exercise echo testing.
• Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for cardiac diagnosis on inpatients and scheduled outpatients.
• Maintain working knowledge of stress testing as it relates to the Echocardiology department.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiology team. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. • You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, both adult and pediatric, transesophageal echo imaging to include structural heart, intraoperative, and outpatients, and exercise echo, either exercise stress or pharmacological stress testing.
• You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease on both in patients as well as scheduled out-patients.
• A working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department.
