Job summary

You will provide individualized, outcome oriented nursing care from admission through discharge using the nursing process, within SSH policies and procedures. Responsibilities include medication administration, planning and documenting care, patient/family centered communication, and safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse with MA licensure requirements.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows SSH policies for medication administration.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, transcription, and recording per SSH policy.
• Develop, evaluate and update individualized plan of care and documents outcomes.
• Initiate admission assessment within 8 hours of admission and document needs.
• Ensure safety and quality through adherence to policies and evidence-based practice.
• Engage in patient/family centered care and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and privacy standards.
