Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a proficient RN for a PRN role within the Electrocardiography (EKG) unit. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with the clinical team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Requires self-direction, strong communication, and a cardiac background is preferred.

Shift-PRN: Days, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with 6am-4:30pm coverage; Cardiac experience encouraged. Training and supportive environment offered in a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Tennessee
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-directed and quality-focused physician collaboration
• Cardiac background preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses
• Monitors patient progress and applies interventions to achieve outcomes
• Promotes health and a safe environment
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed
