UP Health System - Marquette invites a skilled Cardiac RN to join a dedicated Cardiac Department of 36 beds in Marquette, Michigan. The role features six 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, at 0.9 FTE, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

The position emphasizes comprehensive patient care, collaboration with the care team, and ongoing professional development within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Michigan RN license required.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• IMCU cross-training within 1 year.
• TNCC certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and other clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, and referrals.
• Assesses learning needs and provides patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being.
