Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Georgia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Navicent Health Medical Center's 7Heart unit. The role involves delivering and coordinating comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the practicing state, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. Cardiac/critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication to create a safe patient environment.
