Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent - The Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 24-bed CV Stepdown unit. You will care for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative patients, with nights shifts from 7p to 7a and rotating weekends.

Full-time, 36 hours/week, with a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. Requires an accredited nursing program completion and an active RN license in Georgia, plus BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS certification required/expected within 6 months of hire.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and communicate effectively with the care team.
