Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist to support the Los Angeles territory. You will provide technical support for CRM devices, educate clinicians, and travel to customer sites to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong clinical and technical skills, CRM product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with after-hours coverage as needed. A valid driver's license and regular travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus minimum 6 years in healthcare, field sales, or related math/science/compute experience.
• Associate’s Degree plus minimum 4 years in healthcare, field sales, or related math/science/compute experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 2 years in healthcare, field sales, or related math/science/compute experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies by performing system checks/interrogations, supporting implants, troubleshooting issues, and applying knowledge gained through CRM field training.
• Coordinate operational support by ensuring accurate patient documentation, managing inventory and equipment resources, maintaining programmer software, and assisting with daily coverage logistics.
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, office personnel, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and solutions, while supporting onboarding and development of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and field partners to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the value of Medtronic CRM products and solutions.
• Identify customer opportunities, support purchase order activities, monitor competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to help achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain technical expertise by staying current on new CRM products, therapies, solutions, and patient management offerings to effectively support customers and clinical outcomes.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings, with frequent independent driving – approx. 80% of the time.
• Perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs., sitting, standing, and walking for 8+ hours per day, and other related physical activities.
