Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehabilitation program. The role focuses on managing patients in recovery from cardiac events through monitored exercise, education, and lifestyle modification.

Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, patient education, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Required: RN license in MA, 3 years CCU/ICU experience, BCLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring telemetry and vital signs during exercise, group patient education, completing individualized treatment plans, physical assessment and evaluations.
• Competent in interpreting telemetry rhythms, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and responding quickly to adverse events.
• Flexible to meet the needs of the department.
