Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse PRN in Springfield, TN. You will provide direct patient care under the RN scope, perform assessments, and participate in program improvements within a supportive team.

Required qualifications include RN licensure, ACLS and BLS within 30 days, plus 6 months of RN experience with telemetry/cardiac exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license is required (RN).
• Associate Degree, or BSN, or RN Diploma is required.
• At least 6 months RN experience; telemetry or cardiac experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse. Nursing functions involve nursing assessments, exercise evaluations, insurance benefit verifications and multiple other nursing duties. This position utilizes excellent therapeutic communications skills in daily practice. Maintains a safe and therapeutic healing environment for patients.

Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon. Identities nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Plans individualized and holistic patient care. Participates in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• At least 6 months of RN experience required. Telemetry or cardiac experience highly preferred.
