Responsibilities

• Interprets physiological data from stress tests and plans individualized exercise prescriptions.
• Collaborates with physicians to determine program eligibility and progression.
• Establishes health education programs for patients on exercise and risk reduction.
• Promotes referrals to rehabilitation by building relationships with physicians and nurses.
• Positions patients and monitors procedures; assists in emergencies as needed.
• Mentors staff seeking certification in exercise physiology.
