Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a full-time Exercise Specialist to support Cardiovascular Services and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation. You will perform physician-ordered non-invasive cardiology tests, supervise stress tests, and assist with patient exercise prescriptions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, 1 year of exercise testing experience, Basic and Advanced EKG courses, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• 1 year experience in exercise testing of low and high-risk patients.
• Completion of Basic EKG and Advanced EKG courses within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in managing PC applications.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong assessment skills to determine appropriateness of patient test protocol.
• Critical thinking skills to determine end points of test.
• Recognition of critical arrhythmias.
