Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to deliver cardiac and pulmonary rehab services within the continuum of care. You will design and implement exercise programs, teach patients and families about a healthy lifestyle, and monitor progress using established protocols.

The role requires 1 year of experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and BLS + ACLS within 90 days. Master’s degree preferred; benefits include competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, Adult Health & Fitness, or related field Required
• Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, Adult Health & Fitness with concentration in cardiac health Preferred
• 1 year of experience Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification Required
• ACLS within 90 Days Required

Responsibilities

• Teaching exercise classes, administering fitness testing and developing and implementing exercise programs within the continuum of care.
• Providing education to patients and families regarding the benefits of an exercise/healthy lifestyle.
• Able to perform supervision of exercise programs and deliver emergency medical care utilizing established protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
