Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist II for the Cardiac Rehab program at Lorain Hospital. The role collaborates with the cardiopulmonary team to develop and implement exercise prescriptions and document patient progress.

The ideal candidate will assess medical history, conduct tests, educate patients on THR/RPE, and provide ongoing education and discharge planning. Bachelor's degree is required; Master's preferred. Clinical supervision and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced knowledge and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the exercise component of the program.
• Review patient history and perform exercise prescriptions based on assessment.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust plans as needed.
• Serve as preceptor to new team members.
• Document 30-day ITP updates and plan discharge and education.
