Job summary
Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act. You will apply therapeutic communication and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the hospital's mission.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing school.
- Current Tennessee Board of Nursing licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
- Administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor vital signs.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
- Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
- In charge nurse responsibilities include staff assignments and acting as a clinical resource.
