Job summary

Desert Care Network is seeking a Clinical Quality Coordinator to lead the Chest Pain Accreditation program and oversee NCDR registries (CATH-PCI and Chest Pain-MI) in support of cardiac care excellence.

This role drives data collection, analysis and performance improvement while coordinating with nursing and medical leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant clinical experience; 1 year in program management preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred; nursing degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to present self in a positive and professional manner.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Experience in data collection, entry, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leads maintenance of Chest Pain Accreditation Program and NCDR registries (CATH-PCI, Chest Pain-MI).
• Ensures REMSA STEMI program compliance.
• Reviews data and develops process improvement strategies with DCQI.
• Informs administrators, medical directors and leaders about regulatory changes or data trends.
• Demonstrates problem solving and supports innovation in process changes.
• Maintains professional communication with Medical Director and Chief Nursing Officer.
