Under the direction of the Director Clinical Quality Improvement (DCQI), the Clinical Quality Coordinator (CQC) is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach to the care of the cardiac patient population in support of the Chest Pain Accreditation program, as well as process improvement measures related to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) programs. The NCDR programs include CATH-PCI and Chest Pain-MI. The CQC collaborates with the Directors of nursing in carrying out the educational, clinical, research, administrative, and outreach activities of the associated cardiac programs.
