Job summary

Baptist Health Nassau is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team on a PRN basis, with flexible day shift hours designed for patient-focused care.

You will assess patients, design exercise prescriptions, monitor during sessions (including EKG), and educate families on heart-healthy lifestyles, while coordinating with physicians and care teams to promote safer movement and long-term cardiovascular health.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years pulmonary rehabilitation experience
• 3–5 years clinical cardiac experience
• Level II background screening required (FDLE and FBI)

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
• Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation
• Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness
• Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians
