Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s. The RN will provide holistic patient care, assess needs, and support a strong teamwork culture in a high-acuity environment.

The role involves medication administration, patient education, and documentation within our standards. A valid Ohio RN license and BLS/CPR are required, with emphasis on collaborative care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with valid credentials.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for assigned groups using evidence-based practice.
• Administer medications per provider guidance and organizational policies.
• Assist in emergencies and provide patient and family education on procedures.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Coordinate care and supervise other care team members as appropriate.
