Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) at St. Ann’s. The RN will deliver care per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, focusing on NSTEMI, post STEMI, and related cardiac conditions in a 30-bed unit.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, education, and precise documentation. A BSN and Ohio RN license are required; 12-hour night shifts with weekend options are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Administer medications under provider direction following policies and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations under provider supervision.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and procedures.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the chart.
• Take accountability for care provided and documented by all care team members.
