Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care and coordinate care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role requires active NC RN licensure or a compact-state license, plus BLS CPR certification and at least 1 year of RN experience.

The RN will review patient needs, analyze information, prepare care plans, and collaborate with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 1 year in a clinical specialty preferred by ANCC or national nursing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit.
• Analyzes patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes including medication administration and treatments.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluates patient responses and identifies further interventions needed to meet goals of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
