Caregivers work days, M-F, 7:00am–7:30pm. A caregiver excels in this role by providing or assisting with patient care under supervision, reporting changes to RNs, and maintaining room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross upon or within new hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Military healthcare experience or additional healthcare training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and activities of daily living.
• Assist with patient transfers and transport as needed.
• Report abnormal findings or changes to an RN promptly.
• Assist in keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
