Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
• Keyboarding and computer literacy including EMR use; Behavioral Health roles require ability to manage disruptive patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care across age groups and coordinate care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document age-specific assessments to support care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and team to adjust care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications and document in EMR.
• Support education needs of patients and families; participate in quality initiatives.
