Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Cardiac Perfusionist to support open heart surgeries. Under medical supervision, you will prepare perfusion equipment, monitor during surgery, and perform pre/post-operative maintenance while ensuring quality outcomes. CCP certification is preferred, or you may obtain it within two years of hire.

New graduates from accredited perfusion programs are welcome to apply. Base salary offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certification in Cardiovascular Perfusion (CCP) or eligibility/willing to obtain within two years.
• New graduates from accredited perfusion programs will be considered.
• RN with Critical Care experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Prepare perfusion equipment for open heart surgeries.
• Monitor perfusion equipment during procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-operative maintenance on perfusion equipment.
• Compute parameters to facilitate quality patient care during surgery.
