Wellstar Health System is seeking a skilled Perfusionist to support cardiopulmonary bypass and related circulatory services. The role involves handling bypass equipment, ECMO coverage, and collaborating with surgical teams across hospitals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a accredited perfusion program, and BLS certification, with 3+ years of experience. Willingness to travel and take call is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Accredited cardiovascular perfusion program required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience strongly preferred.
• Georgia Clinical Perfusionist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required, instructor or provisional accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for cases and assembles perfusion equipment.
• Manages equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Performs perfusion procedures and supports cardiopulmonary and circulatory systems.
• Communicates with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and data interpretation.
• Complies with WellStar Health System policies and procedures.
