Job summary

The Perfusionist at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX operates extracorporeal circulation equipment to support or replace cardiopulmonary functions during surgery, selecting appropriate devices and monitoring progress under physician orders.

This full-time role offers a day shift with a variable schedule, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k), PTO from day one, tuition reimbursement, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited Perfusion Program.
• CCP certification and Texas Perfusion licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of perfusion experience.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment and monitor perfusion during surgery.
• Ensure sterility and proper setup of all equipment.
• Record perfusion data and maintain equipment logs.
• Maintain inventory and perform basic equipment maintenance.
