Job summary

Strata Critical Recovery (formerly Keystone Perfusion) seeks a Staff Perfusionist to join the cardiac surgery program at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus in Dover, Delaware. The role is full-time with days/nights/call and a collaborative team environment.

The compensation ranges from $155,000 to $180,000 based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and strong professional support for continued clinical excellence in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
• ABCP certification or board eligibility status.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage extracorporeal circulation systems.
• Support procedures involving ECMO, IABP, autotransfusion, hemofiltration, and blood gas analysis.
• Administer medications and blood products via the extracorporeal circuit.
• Maintain detailed documentation in patient medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and ICU teams to optimize outcomes.
• Support resuscitation and emergency interventions as required.
• Maintain equipment logs and perform routine readiness checks.
• Participate in ongoing education, QA, and research initiatives.
