Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Perfusionist for the Cardiac Perfusion Services team in Tampa. The role involves supporting procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, and cell saver technologies in the surgical suites.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited perfusion program with ABCP certification and hands-on CPB/ECMO experience. On-site work at the TGH Main Campus is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited perfusion training program.
• Current National certification from the ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists).
• Experience with CPB/ECMO procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, Cell Saver and related bypass procedures.
• Assemble, care for and prepare perfusion supplies, instruments and equipment before, during and after procedures.
• Clean and maintain perfusion equipment and assist team leader with ordering and stocking supplies.
