Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Perfusion Manager to lead the Cardiac Perfusion services and oversee daily clinical operations and strategic planning.

You will manage staff performance, budgeting, compliance with DHS, TJC, OSHA and other regulations, and ensure high-quality, safe patient care; responsibilities include scheduling, recruitment, and vendor relations. Master’s degree and CCP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience required.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (CCP) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental goals aligned with the organization’s strategy.
• Manage staff relations, scheduling, payroll, and student engagements; monitor Budgets and vendor relations.
• Justify needs for systems/equipment; monitor usage and stock supplies.
• Assess quality of patient care and coordinate with patients, staff and physicians.
• Provide patient care as needed; work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead with critical thinking and decisive judgment.
