Community Health Systems is seeking a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. The role is a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for additional incentives.

The RN will provide evidence-based, patient-centered cardiac care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for care plans.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain infection control practices and documentation.
