Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Experience requirements: Experience required; competency assessment; varies by department.
• Certification requirements: BLS, current for 90 days after hire; varies by department.
• License requirements: Florida nursing license.
• Other requirements: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care provision.
• Support organizational vision and mission and contribute to quality improvement.
