Job summary

Carilion Clinic’s 6 West Cardiac PCU is seeking a passionate RN I for a full-time, in-person role in Roanoke, VA. The unit offers Chest Pain care, telemetry, and short-stay cardiac patients, with shifts covering day/evening/night and weekend/holiday requirements.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under EPIC documentation, collaborating with physicians and care teams to improve outcomes. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing or eligible to sit for VA licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit.
• Computer skills for electronic medical records (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all ages on the Cardiac PCU.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care with accuracy and empathy.
• Collaborate with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes and safety.
