Job summary
Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Jasper, Georgia seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Acute Care Outpatient team. This full-time, day-shift role supports Piedmont Mountainside Hospital and offers a collaborative cardiology environment.

Qualifications
- PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
- NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Experience in cardiology or ambulatory care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians.
- Take histories, conduct exams, write progress notes and develop therapeutic plans.
- Order and schedule labs and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate with supervising physicians.
- Collaborate in Women’s Heart screening and lipid management as part of the team.
