A healthcare solutions provider in Rochester is seeking a Cardiac Surgical Technologist to assist in complex cardiovascular surgeries. The role involves supporting the surgical team with technical skills and maintaining sterilization practices. Candidates must have recent experience in a cardiac operating room and appropriate certifications. This position operates 36 to 48 hours per week, including rotations and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac operating room.
• Certification from NBSTSA or equivalent experience.
• Ability to scrub and circulate during surgical operations.

Responsabilités

• Support complex cardiovascular surgeries while ensuring sterile technique.
• Provide technical knowledge and assist the surgical team from the scrub position.
• Maintain proper care and handling of instruments and facilitate turnovers.

Connaissances

Technical knowledge in preparing instruments

Ability to scrub and circulate

Recent experience in cardiac OR

Formation

NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience

BLS certification from American Heart Association
