Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support smooth transitions of care. You will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and contribute to quality improvement while mentoring peers.

The role requires current RN licensure, relevant education, and the ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. TN sponsorship eligible.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Completion of accredited nursing program or candidacy as required.
• Documentation of bachelor’s degree within five years from RN start date.
• Experience in perioperative or acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care with direct patient care and family education.
• Support transitions of care and professional nursing practice across settings.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Communicate effectively and adapt to varying shifts and patient acuity.
