Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced RN to coordinate nursing care, provide patient/family education, and support transitions of care. The RN will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, showing leadership in precepting and quality improvement efforts.

Qualified candidates have a BSN, RN license, and OR experience; completion of AORN Periop 101 is a plus. Flexible hours include days/evenings/nights and weekends; TN sponsorship may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program; RN license required.
• One year of operating room experience; AORN Periop 101 preferred.
• Documentation of nursing program completion within five years if RN start date is after April 1, 2020.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and education.
• Lead within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model; participate in quality improvement.
• Delegate patient care considering skill level, acuity, and resources; ensure safety.
